Description

Beautiful Majolica pitcher with fish in water on both sides. Made in 1880, Majolica Fish by Shorter and Son, in Stoke On Trent, Uk this a very colourful and unique piece. Moulded with mint green water scene, adorned with pink fish, pink & white shells, seaweed, green plants. Top and handle is blue trimmed with brown and a pink interior and is marked on the base with ”Made in England”. This would be a great milk or water jug or a vase. It has been lightly used I would probably guess for flowers, by the marks inside of the bottom, but the overall condition is excellent, with no cracks or chips.
