Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a part time Junior Social Media & Marketing Assistant to support our growing team. The role is remote thought there will be a need to have face to face meetings on occasion.

THE ROLE:

Social Media Activity

  • Responsible for the day to day social media implementation that supports the marketing activity of the company
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across Linked In, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube and Facebook using scheduling tools
  • Create and develop engaging, relevant, and emotive social media content in line with a content calendar
  • Create attention-grabbing images and other graphics to support the written content
  • Keep the calendar up to date with all events and engagements across the business and surrounding communities
  • Keep up to date with trends, mentions and useful content on social media
  • Research competitors / other professional services firms’ social media activities
  • Research local community events, awareness days and holidays and draft supporting posts accordingly
  • Support the Marketing team with tracking of social media analytics i.e. follower numbers and engagement rates

General Marketing Activity providing:

  • General administrative support
  • Event management support where necessary
  • Maintenance of an accurate calendar of forthcoming activity
  • Monitoring of competitor/professional services marketing activities
  • As a junior role, you will be supported across all your activity
  • You will receive some guidance on how we promote Curio Foundation across social media, new ideas and concepts would be welcome

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Some relevant work experience would be desirable but is not essential
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express and similar content creation software would be desirable – but we will support the right candidate to develop these skills
  • Good working knowledge of social media channels, specifically Linked In, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook is essential
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, communication and writing skills with the ability to produce fluent and persuasive copy and content for a wide variety of audiences
  • Good analytical and research skills – with a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadline
