Description

A lovely example of traditional Alsace pottery, carried by several generations of potters in North East France. This piece is handmade and hand painted at the Siegfried-Burger & Fils pottery in Soufflenheim, which has been run by the same family for 6 generations.
Made from double cooked clay, this small, oval shaped tureen has been decorated in their icon ‘Flower’ pattern and coated with a lead-free enamel to give it an added shine.
