Hello Welcome, I’m Joyce,

I’ve worked in retail, fashion and furniture for more than twenty years but my first and earliest love and ambition was to own my own shop. My passion for vintage and antiques, began as young girl when my parents took me to weekend boot sales and up and down the bustling aisles of Deptford market, my love for all things vintage began to take root, which honed my eye for the unique and all things fabulous.

The joy of rescuing things started as a personal hobby but soon blossomed into a robust business. The joy of rescuing products, married to my desire to became my mission and Curio Foundation was created. Two profound threads have woven together —my unwavering passion for vintage treasures and my commitment to Christian charity.

The shop name Curio, is a play on the word Kurios, which means Lord or Master in Greek, a name which reflects both our Christian ethos and vision, but still retains all of the quirky charm of the brand.

We were created for something greater than ourselves

It’s my desire, to see God glorified through the proclamation of the Gospel, to raise the bar in Christian counseling, and help people everywhere to embrace the profound truth of what it is to be in relationship with God and others. For the reason that we are created for something greater than ourselves.

By seeking answers to the difficult issues and troubles we all face, and by looking to Gods Word for such answers, I hope to extend Gods joy, his comfort, his correction and his peace, to you. I hope you’ll find and grow in total satisfaction knowing that, we were created for something greater than ourselves, to pursue his glory.

I’m glad you’re here and hope you’ll stick around and go on this journey together.
